Several months ago, in partnership with Save the Rhino, The International Rhino Foundation (IRF) launched the Crisis Zimbabwe campaign, to raise awareness about the crisis in Zimbabwe, where rhino poaching has doubled in the past year. With their resources severely strained, they asked for help to rescue rhinos and move them out of dangerous areas.

Guwahati, April 9: The rhino translocation project, which had been put on hold for want of a tranquilliser, is back on track with a Singapore zoo providing the Assam forest department with the drug.
Four rhinos will be shifted from Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary to Manas National Park on Friday.

Customs officers at the Ho Chi Minh City international airport discovered Thursday five rhinoceros horns worth around VND6 billion (US$375,200) in the luggage of a Vietnamese man flying in from South Africa.
